Policy

THDirect (web) orders are integrated into our order and shipping systems and will process with priority over  phone or fax orders.  Phone and fax orders must have part numbers specified to reduce the possibility of delay and error in the processing. We are not responsible for errors which occur when part numbers are NOT furnished.  Inquiries into service or other parts which are NOT listed as standard items on THDirect will be processed on a time permitting basis.  These inquiries and orders may be delayed upto 10 days.  THDirect (web) placed orders will receive priority in processing.  Phone and fax orders for THDirect listed items are processed in a timely manner in the order that they are received. 

Prices: THDirect orders will be processed at the published pricing on THDirect.  An invoice will be eMailed to the purchaser reflecting the choosen shipping and payment methods as well as the total charge.  Please notify THDirect IMMMEDIATELY if there is a problem with this detail.  Phone and fax orders will be processed at the current THDirect retail pricing.  Discounts and 'Specials' via the web will not be applied.  An additional 5% handling surcharge may be added.  THDirect reserves the right to refuse any order for any reason.  THDirect will notify all purchasers of any errors in pricing and will allow the purchaser the option to purchase at the corrected price or to cancel their order.     

COD Orders: Cash on delivery, orders are shipped within the US only. Please note that COD fees are $8.00. COD fees are imposed by the carrier and is their collection fee. All COD’s are certified check only. If order requires multiple packages, a COD fee will be applied to each package.

Prepaid (mail in) Phone or Fax Orders: Please include approximately 15% of total order amount for shipping (this is an approximate figure only). See credits or over payments. If these amounts are not included, your order will be shipped COD for the balance (domestic only).

Prepaid (mail in) THDirect Orders: Please include the exact amount as stated on the THDirect invoice.  Also include a copy of the THDirect Invoice.  Acceptable funds include certified or personal check.  Personal checks will require a 10 day delay to clear the check.   

Credit Cards: Only Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards are accepted. Orders under $50.00 are subject to a 5% service charge due to extra order processing expense.

Foreign Orders: All foreign orders including Canada can either send full payment plus 15% for surface mail, or 40% for airmail (this is an approx figure only) in advance or use a credit card (this does not apply if using a credit card). All payments must be in US dollars (by money order or certified check) drawn on a US bank otherwise bank service fees will be billed to you. All postal orders are shipped registered or certified for tracking reasons. This will cost more but will benefit you if any problems arise. Problems do arise with the post and without this, your order is not traceable. If you wish to waive this fee, we must have your authorization in writing. Post office orders are subject to a $5.00 handling charge. Sorry, COD orders are only available for domestic shipments.

General Shipping: THDirect orders are shipped via the chosen method by the purchaser during placement of the order via THDirect (web).  Phone and fax orders with no specific shipping instructions given at time of order, will be charged and shipped by the best method available. Most carriers will not deliver to a post office box. Please provide us with a street address and phone number. All orders will be charged a $2.50 handling fee. False Invoices: We do not produce false invoices for customs purposes. While it may be a common practice at other companies, we do not participate in this illegal activity.

Back Orders: Items in stock will be shipped.  Any items marked “Back Order” on your invoice will be shipped when available unless we are notified differently.  If you do NOT want these items, please contact us and cancel those items you do not want shipped.  You are never charged for these items until time of shipment. Please read the invoice thoroughly.

Sales tax: All Tennessee orders are subject to sales tax. Credits or Overpayments will remain on file towards your next order.

Lost or Damaged Parts: Our shipping department will make every effort to package your order for protection against general handling in shipping. If a package arrives with external damage, you must notify the carrier immediately. If any items are missing or damaged you must file a claim with the carrier and keep the original package for inspection. Do not contact THDirect. Please note: The US Postal Service will not investigate any lost packages until 6-12 months after date of inquiry. For this reason we prefer to ship by other shippers. Please be aware of this. THDirect is not responsible once the package is delivered to the shipper. However we will make every effort to assist you in your efforts in the event of a loss or claim. Title to goods passes to the customer when delivered to the shipper.

Returned goods, exchanges or shortages: If you experience a discrepancy with your order, we must be notified within 10 days of your delivery. Adjustments after this period will be at our discretion. No items will be accepted for exchange without prior authorization.  No returns will be accepted after 30 days.  All returns are subject to a 20% restocking and handling fee. No returns on electrical parts including but not limited to  ignition modules, electronic harness control modules, trigger sensor modules, instrumentation electronics etc... No refunds - only exchanges or credits.

Warranty: Our parts are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship or material for a period of 90 days. Warranty is valid only to the original purchaser when accompanied by proof of purchase from an authorized dealer.  Warranty is limited to the replacement of that failed part only and only after our inspection. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse or improper installation.  All warranty returns must be approved and returned under a RMA number.

General: Styles, colors and parts may change without notice. Products are generally not supplied with hardware unless specified.
